One of my works from my graduate study was published as a patent publication. Title of this work is- " Method, system, and product for oximetry device for improving measurement quality". In this work we demonstrated that utilizing already present signal in the conventional oximetry, Melanin Index (level of skin pigmentation) can measured. We showed that by modifying the current ratiometric approach with this derived parameter the accuracy of oxygen quantification can be improved.
